Gîtes de France : leader of guest house networks in Europe!
In 2015, Gîtes de France is celebrating its 60th birthday. The label has grown and developed over the years. Now, it is the largest guest house network in Europe, thanks to 43.000 men and women welcoming you into their homes, each one being different and unique.
In 2009, Gîtes de France developed the 'City Break' concept : the guarantee of the label's quality for town accommodations.
What about Gîtes de France in the Rhone Department ?
The Departmental Association for Rural Tourism promoting rural tourism in the Rhone department was created in 1974 on the initiative of the Farmers’ Association. It has almost 600 members and employs 8 people. It is managed by Mr Jean-Jacques PAIRE, the President, winegrower, and Mrs Dominique LEGRAND, the director.
The Association provides economic development and growth of rural tourism through two national labels: “Gîtes de France” and “Bienvenue à la Ferme”.
